Originally created in the 17th century for Wallenstein's Duke Albrecht, Wallenstein Garden is an impressive, geometric oasis that aims to provide peace and tranquility for those seeking to escape the bustling Mala Strana streets.
The most impressive feature of this garden is a massive loggia that depicts various scenes from the Trojan Wars. Massive bronze statues of various Greek gods line the avenue just across from this display.
There's an ornamental pond at the east end of the garden that's teeming with massive carp, and that houses a breathtaking fountain.
The garden is also home to the renowned Wallenstein Riding School that offers a variety of rotating, short-term exhibitions.
