Around 10 million people visit the Vondelpark each year, the 120 acre park situated near the center of Amsterdam.
The park dates from 1865 and was originally created for residents to enjoy walking and horse riding. Today the large open space offers much more and has become a popular place for locals and tourists to enjoy roller skating, dog walking, picnicking or just people watching.
