Situated in Kaliurang highland near Yokyakarta, Indonesia, the Ullen Sentalu Museum is a non-government Javanese art and culture museum, which showcases artifacts and relics from Kratons and royal houses of Java like Surakarta, Pakualam, Mangkuregaran, as well as Yogyakarta.
Presently taken care of by the U. B. Foundation, this private museum was initiated by the Haryono family, established in 1994, and inaugurated officially on the 1st of March, 1997. This specific date is memorialized each year as a historical date for the Yogyakarta city.
The inaugural ceremony of this museum was done by the then governor of Yogyakarta Special Province, KGPAA Paku Alam VIII.
