The National Football Museum is in Manchester city center, and opened in its current building in 2012.
It's a must for anyone who is a fan of England's national sport and includes several themed galleries on four floors. Some of the themes include great players, the fans, trophies, and stadium history and design; there is also an educational zone and a program of changing exhibits.
Some highlights include the football from the 1966 World Cup final, the first ever rule book, and a display of football themed toys and games.
It's housed in the striking Urbis Building, a short walk from the city's Exchange Square.
