Created in the year 1746, The Jardin Public garden, located near Bordeaux, France covers an area of 10.8 hectares.
Designed by Ange Jacques Gabriel, the landscape architect it is France's first garden thought since its inception for being dedicated to the public. Bordeaux LB Fischer, the landscape gardener gave the garden its existing English style.
Nowadays it is a place that people visit for a stroll and where nature takes precedence. It is full of botanical discoveries and there are attractions for kids too in the form of old fashioned rides, play grounds, and puppet theater.
The garden has roughly 30 remarkable plant species.
