The tallest church tower in the Netherlands, standing at 368 feet, the Dom Tower is the pride of Utrecht, Netherlands.
Considered the pride of Utrecht, the Domtoren, as it's known in Dutch, was originally part of St. Martin's Cathedral, which was built in the 17th century. The tower was constructed on the original site of the city of Utrecht. Today, the tower is known for concerts featuring its 14 Carillion bells.
Members of the Utrecht Klokkenluiders Gilde maintain the bells and play them during concerts. Visitors often climb up to the top of the tower for spectacular views of the surrounding cityscape.
