Once the tallest structure in the world, the CN Tower occupies a commanding position on the Toronto waterfront. It was built in 1976 by Canadian National, the country’s rail company and has been declared one of the modern seven wonders of the world.
There are spectacular views from the observation deck at the top of the 1,815 feet high tower, often extending to Niagara Falls.
For those with a head for heights, the edgewalk involves walking around the top of the narrow ledge around the top of the tower. The top of the tower can be reached in under a minute on the high speed elevators.Places nearby:
