Near Cali, Colombia, the Cat Park contains 16 cat sculptures. The main sculpture is El Gato Del Rio and weighs three tons. In 1996, artist Hernando Tejada donated the sculpture to Cali. Another 15 smaller cat sculptures were erected in the park in 2006. Those felines were designed and painted by different artists from Colombia, though.
Cat Park features a lot of human beings walking their dogs around. Cats are generally limited to the feline sculptures already present. Nonetheless, the park provides an excellent space to relax in Cali. Visitors can gaze at the sculptures or enjoy a nice day in the park.Places nearby:
