The Bosque dos Buritis is located in the Central Region and is close to the West and Central sectors of the city of Goiânia. It was proposed in the original plan of the city in 1933 with an area of 400,000 square meters.
Visitors find in the middle a series of cascading waterfalls and interconnected natural wells that cross the park. The water reaches the beautiful Lake Islands, which is inhabited by some species of fish and turtles.
The Bosque also houses the address of the Goiânia Art Museum, which has a collection of paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs signed by regional artists.
