Takht Sri Patna Sahib is located in Patna and is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh who was born here in 1666.
It is one of the five holiest shrines in the Sikh community and is regarded as the epicenter of Sikhism in the eastern part of India. The beautiful looking structure was constructed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh who was the very first monarch of the Sikh empire.
There is a small museum in the place that houses several belongings of the Sikh gurus including hand written notes by Guru Gobind Singh and Guru Tej Bahadur Singh.
