The St. Mary's Basilica (Bazylika Mariacka) church, cathedral is a church of Roman Catholic origins in the Polish city of Gdansk.
The church is currently one among the biggest churches in the world to be made from bricks. The church can accommodate approximately 25,000 people at a time. It is triple-aisled and introduces you to late Gothic architecture.
Stabilized by sturdy buttresses, the church's tower is massive at 80 meters and can be seen on the skyline of the city. The church's interior has decorations with multiple masterpieces of Renaissance, Baroque and Gothic paintings.
Even non-Catholics can visit the place just to soak in the structure's architecture and history.
