One of the best places to get an overview of Welsh culture and history is at the St Fagan's National Museum, an open air history museum in Cardiff, the capital of Wales.
Visitors who explore St Fagan's can see over 40 buildings moved there from different parts of Wales, including a chapel, merchant's house and tannery. Also on display are various authentic craft demonstrations, including blacksmithing, weaving and making pottery.
There are also two working water mills, and following major renovations, an improved visitors center, play area, restaurant and learning center. Exhibitions, craft demonstrations, lectures and children's activities are held throughout the year.
