Senado Square, located in Macau, is one of the region's four large squares. Also known as the Largo do Senado, this public square covers an area of 3,700 square meters. The name comes from the nearby building called the Leal Senado Building. Historically, the building was used by the Portuguese governor to perform ceremonies and review military troops during inaugurations.
Today, the square is a common tourist destination as it features European-style structures. It is also considered as a significant architectural and artistic landmark.
