As the name suggests, Roses Park is the ideal place to enjoy roses, and around 600 species of them can be enjoyed here.
The park dates back to 1891, when the Universal Exhibition was held in Timisoara, Romania's third largest city. Although the park covers a relatively small 2.5 acres, it still has room for an open air theater, along with several tennis and volleyball courts.
It's a popular place for locals as well as tourists to relax, and it's also become a popular place to hold large events, including a gastronomic festival, and international folklore festival.
Timisoara is often known as the city of roses.
