The Roland Garros Stadium, or Stade Roland Garros, is a tennis court complex in Paris, France. Tennis enthusiasts from across the world associate the name with its red clay courts. The complex is famous for hosting the French Open tennis tournament. The Grand Slam event usually commences at the end of May and goes on till June.
The stadium is named after the French fighter pilot and aviator, Roland Garros. Spread across 21 acres of land, the stadium has twenty courts, of which three have the capacity to seat large audiences. There is also a tennis museum, as well as a restaurant and bar on the stadium premises.
