The Museo del Acero Horno 3 is an impressive museum located in one of the decommissioned blast furnaces inside the Fundidora Park in the city of Monterrey.
The area has a number of museums but this one stands out as it is built in one of the blast furnaces. This space became a great interactive space of Science and Technology where you can visit different galleries and learn much more about the steel industry. It also provides an opportunity to ride to the top of Horno3.
Furnace 3 was designed by Arthur G. McKee & Co. of Cleveland, USA, its installation began in 1965 and was put into operation in 1968, when the Founding Company was still operating.
