Real Colegiata de san Isidoro de Leon is a church complex in the Romantic District of San Isidoro Square in Leon, Spain. It sits on an ancient Roman Temple site. Its architecture is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and Islamic styles.
The church houses the Pantheon of the Kings of Leon. It is the resting place for 33 members of the Leonese Court. It has columns crowned with floral and historic designs. Also, it has 12th century well preserved painted murals. This is why it known as the Sistine Chapel of the Romanesque.
