Quinta de San Pedro museum was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1891. The building is plastered with an ocher yellow and its design represents the colonial style of its time. The main precincts of this historical monument are in the Main House of the hacienda.
These consist of a main room, an alcove, a bathroom, a chapel, a library, the Bolivarian room, the centenary room, a kitchen and the old stable. Among these significant spaces, the visitor can observe singular objects that provide a view of how people lived at the time. Currently, this important bastion of history and art is managed by the Bolivarian Museum of Contemporary Art Foundation.
