The Plaza de Espana is the main square in the city of Santa Cruz on the island of Tenerife.
Designed in 1929, today the square is home to several hotels and prominent buildings, although it's also a popular meeting place or somewhere to enjoy from one of the several cafes. A tunnel under the square leads to the remains of the 16th century Castle of San Cristóbal, which is today a museum.
