Located in Bordeaux (France), Place de la Bourse and the Miroir d'eau is basically a three-century old monument surrounding a less-than-a-decade old massive water mirror.
Designed by Michel Corajoud, a landscape artist, this spectacular pool alternates between artificial misting and mirror effects in an impressive way. The two-centimetre high water level and its rhythmic changes on a massive granite slab make the place truly magical.
Children would love to play here and so would romantic adults who would fancy dipping their feet in the water during summer. The place is arguably the most photographed place in the city and sees visitors from across the globe.
