Once at Dambulla, everybody heads out to the ancient rock fortress of Sigriya almost by default as if.
And yet, Pidurangala, a neighboring rock, actually offers a better and more stunning view of the surroundings than does Sigriya. Of course, Pidurangala may lack the historical significance of Sigriya; however if that is not a huge concern for you, we do recommend that you check out Pidurangala.
