Once the town's forum during Roman times, the Piazza delle Erbe is today still the main square in the northern Italian city of Verona.
Most days it's home to a lively fruit and vegetable market, as well as stalls selling souvenirs. Several popular and busy cafes and restaurants surround the square, and have their tables spilling over into the street.
It's also the site of several of Verona's most historic buildings, including the Medieval Casa dei Mercanti, once the home of the city's merchants' guild.
It's no surprise that the piazza has been described as one of the most beautiful in Italy.
