Located in the Bois de Vincennes in the eastern suburbs of Paris, the Parc Floral de Paris is a botanical garden, a leftover from the city's 1969 horticultural exposition.
The 76 acre park contains a large lake with fountains, as well as several smaller ponds given over to water plants, such as lilies. Japanese bonsai plants can be seen in one pavilion; other areas are devoted to medicinal plants and herbs, and cacti.
There's also a concert stage, outdoor sculptures and miniature railway, and a garden that has flowers blooming all year round. It's easily reached by Metro; closest station is Chateau-de-Vincennes.Places nearby:
