Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (or just the Thyssen) is a museum of art in Madrid, Spain.
The museum constitutes the "Golden Triangle of Art" that includes the Reina Sofia Museum and Prado Museum.
With more than 1,600 paintings under its roof, the Thyssen was the second biggest private collection globally, second only to the British Royal Collection. The European painting collection spans eight centuries. The museum doesn't claim to offer an all-encompassing sight, but instead a sequence of highlights.
