The Museo de Antioquia is a museum dedicated to art, located in Medellin, Colombia. This museum has a huge assortment of artistic stuff by Pedro Nel Gomez, as well as native of Medellin Fernando Botero.
In 1881 a group, which included Martin Gomez, Antonio Jose Restrepo, as well as Manuel Uribe Angel, established the Zea Museum at the library of the Antioquia Sovereign State in order to honor Francisco Antonio Zea.
The first collection contained artistic as well as historical artifacts and books of its founders. In 1977, the name of the museum was altered to the current name of Francisco Antonio Zea Museum of Art of Medellin.
