In Dublin, Ireland, the unofficial anthem is known as Molly Malone. A fictional character who sold raw fish and seafood on the side of the road has turned into a very popular figure in the city. She has her own Molly Malone statue, which was originally revealed in 1988 to celebrate the cities first millennium.
