The Masjid Raya at-Taqwa Cirebon City is a large Mosque in the city of Cirebon, West Java. It was founded in 1918 in a village called the Prosecutor's Office.
The architectural style of the Mosque symbolizes a tropical building with a jurai roof as well as is furnished with 4 small menarets (towers) and a 65-meter high tower. The size of the gate that is as wide as 3 meters is the point of interest of the Mosque. A striking golden gate that reads the shahada two- sentence calligraphy made of glass reinforced cement on top of original granite from Brazil , dominates the facade of the building.
The white frame accentuates the golden color of the gate.
