In the island city of Palma, the Majorca Cathedral is a true landmark in the area. The Crown of Aragon built a cathedral over the course of four centuries, finally completing it in 1601.
Currently, it is a Gothic Roman Catholic Cathedral that garners plenty of attention from tourists in the area throughout the year. There have been a few changes here and there over the years, but it has largely been preserved to look exactly like it originally did.
