One of the world’s most spectacular natural sights, Niagara Falls is best appreciated from the water.

About 6 million cubic feet of water flows over the 167 feet high falls every minute. The Maid Of the Mist boat tour has been providing close up views of the falls since the mid 19th century, when the first boat was powered by a wood and coal fired boiler.

Today’s boats have changed with the times; the company has introduced emission free boats powered by electricity. If you take the memorable ride, you’ll definitely need the blue raincoat provided, to protect yourself from the spray.
