Madurodam is a model village or miniature theme park, located near the seaside resort of Scheveningen in the Netherlands. It was opened in 1952 and named after a hero of the Dutch resistance in WWII.
Among the exhibits are scale models of the country’s main airport, the port of Rotterdam, and the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum.
The park is known for its accuracy and detail, with dozens of moving parts and miniature figures that change clothes depending on the season.
