The Lisbon Oceanarium is the perfect destination for a family and for adults as well. The oceanarium is the largest salt water aquarium in the world and it features such fascinating examples of sea life as tuna, sharks, rays, sunfish, and penguins.
Because of the large size of the aquarium, visitors can see fish that are usually at the bottom of the ocean, as well as fish that are more often seen at the surface.
Visitors are introduced to four different types of marine environments, including the coast of Antarctica, kelp forests in the Pacific, the coast of the North Atlantic, and coral reefs in the Indian Ocean.
