Laxmi Narayan Mandir – Hindu Temple in Delhi is a renowned place of worship. The temple was built in 1938 and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi who did the honors on the condition that everyone, irrespective of caste and social status, will be allowed to visit the temple.
The campus is sprawled across an area of 7 acres and is clean and well maintained. The large complex is adorned with fountains, cascading waterfalls, a landscaped garden, exquisite carvings depicting mythological stories, miniature rock temples, and beautiful sculptures.
