Located in the heart of Denver, Colorado, Larimer Square was once a run down neighborhood; today, it's one of the most popular areas in the city, and Denver's first designated local historic district.
Following renovation and rebuilding during the 1960s and '70s, the neighborhood today boasts almost 20 restaurants, as well as several bars and nightclubs. It's also home to over a dozen one of a kind boutiques, antique shops and galleries, many housed in beautiful and historic Victorian houses and warehouses.
The area has a year round program of events, and it's easy to get to, thanks to its adjoining parking garage.
