Lago das Rosas is the oldest, and one of the largest parks, in the Brazilian city of Goiania. It was established in the 1940s and the walls of the park are built in the Art Deco style. The park is spread across 315,000 square meters, and is also the location for the city zoo. It was constructed at the site of a rose garden, and hence the name.
Visitors to the park enjoy the verdant and peaceful haven it offers them in the middle of the bustling city. There are many walking paths for joggers to explore. In addition there is a gazebo, lakes and play areas for children.
