The Kyushu national museum is Japan's national museum and was opened in 2005. It's also the very first national museum to open in Japan in the last 100 years.
The striking museum is a cedarwood and wavelike glass building that houses five floors. The main exhibition gallery is located on the fourth floor.
The high-tech exterior is complemented by the interior displays, and it is here that you find a super high definition theatre. The first entrance is free and contains the restaurant, greenhouse as well as café and shop. Ultimately these places deliver an interactive introduction to Japan's artistic and historical relations with Asians.
The museum has special exhibitions of arts and crafts, and ultimately, ever floor of this museum is truly spectacular.
