Opened in 1992, the Kunsthal Rotterdam is one of the major art museums in the city. However, it's somewhat unusual in that it doesn't house a permanent collection; instead it specializes in showing temporary exhibitions.
The interior space allows it to show two or more art exhibitions at the same time, and these range from contemporary art to modern masters of the 19th and 20th centuries.
