Kasbah des Oudayas is a 12th century Kasbah or city fortress located in Rabat, Morocco. Originally, it provided protection for the city because of its high location on the Bou Regreg River. It also helped with the civilization of the city. It gets its name from one of the many tribes that fought to protect the city.
Currently, it is a wall around a city. It houses gardens, a mosque and museums filled with beautiful Moroccan cultural pieces. At one time, it also housed a palace. It is a great tourist attraction known for its blue and white walls, cobblestone streets and picturesque scenery of the city and Atlantic Ocean.
