You cannot miss seeing Temples (Mandir) wherever you go in India. The Jagdish Temple, comprises of a huge Hindu Temple in the heart of Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India.
Located just outside the Royal Palace, and established in 1651, this is one of the oldest Temples in the region. The original name of this Temple was Jagannath Rai, but nowadays it is more popular by the name of Jagadishji.
Raised on a tall terrace it attaches a dual story hall (mandapa) to a dual story saandhara sanctum with a covered ambulatory. One must climb 32 steps, containing a brass statue of Garuda at the end, to reach the main shrine.Places nearby:
