The Hua Yuan Night Market is considered to be the largest outdoor night market in Taiwan. It was started in 1999, and is quite young in contrast to some of the other night markets in the country. It is set up only on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, unlike some other Taiwanese night markets that are open on all weekdays.
