Taipei is known for its night markets, and although Gongguan night market is not the largest, it's still one of the best.
It's located in the city's business district, close to the university, and attracts as many students as it does tourists. The market is a great place to go to sample some of the best street food around, including bubble milk tea and pig's blood cake, and prices tend to be reasonable.
The surrounding neighborhood is busy into the evening, and within a few minutes' walk of Gongguan are plenty of bookshops, clothing boutiques and coffee shops, as well as the Ningxia night market.Places nearby:
