The Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) is located near Brisbane, Australia. The gallery opened in 2006 to serve as a complement to the Queensland Art Gallery. Today, it is one of the largest modern and contemporary art galleries throughout Australia.
Just a few of the highlights include work by Ai Weiwei, Picasso, Andy Warhol, the Falling Back to Earth from Cai Guo-Qiang. In addition, the building is a stunning piece of architecture that was designed by Architectus Studio. The road side contains a "dark box", which is where the cinematheques with film screenings is located. On the river side, there is a "light box".
