Situated on Guaiba Lake, Fundacao Ibere Camargo is an artistic museum located in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It was created to display the artwork of the late Ibere Camargo. Opened in 1995, the anniversary year of his death, the purpose of the museum is to help others understand Brazilian art by offering classes and tutoring on the topic.
Designed by respected architect Alvaro Siza, the building is an elaborate example of contemporary style architecture. It is a white concrete building with a maze of connecting interiors and balconies. It has exhibits, a room to perform artistic research, an assembly hall and more.
