Located about 30 miles southeast of Paris, Fontainebleau Castle is one of the largest Royal residences in France.
It's been continuously occupied for over seven centuries, and the UNESCO site is open to tourists, many of whom spend an entire day here. The grounds alone cover 130 acres and have various themes including an English garden, and the palace itself has plenty to see.
