Shillong, India, is famous for its numerous waterfalls, but none of them are as princely or as picturesque as the Elephant Falls, located 12 Kilometers from the heart of the city.
Three smaller falls join together to form this fall. Visitors can view this fall from three levels with the help of the beautifully erected path amidst the jungle.
This is a 2-tier waterfall set among the rocks. The surrounding green vegetation and the picturesque curved falls makes the zone an ideal place for picnicking.
Known locally as Ka Kshaid Lal Pateng Khohsiew which literally means “Three Steps Water Falls.”
