Dian Al- Mahri Mosque, located in Depok City, Indonesia, is a recently built mosque that is famous for its opulent deigns and tasteful architecture and is commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful mosques in the country.
The mosque was built by the Banten businesswoman Hj. Maimun Al Rashid. Apart from being a place of worship, the mosque has also become a main tourist attraction of the region since its construction in 2006.
The standout feature of the mosque is its golden dome, patterned after the famous dome of Taj Mahal, India and coated with solid gold 2-3 millimeters thick! In fact, the mosque is also known by the name Masjid Kubah Emas or the Golden Dome Mosque.
