Travelers will discover Colca Canyon near Arequipa, Peru. At 3,270 meters, it remains one of the world's deepest canyons.
The surrounding area is known as the Colca Valley. Unsurprisingly, Colca River flows through the canyon, delivering water across Peru. Longstanding ethnic groups tend to the surrounding lands as they've done for decades.
This particular canyon contains a little something for everyone. For instance, naturists can find the Andean Condor in the area. More than 150,000 people visit the Canyon every year.
