Centro Cultural Islas Malvinas, once an old military center, is an urban cultural center located in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is near the Malvinas square. It is also known as the Falkland Islands Cultural Center and one the city's biggest tourist attractions.
Opened in 1998, the center was designed by architect Juan Martin Burgos. It has plenty of open green space, a small cinema, a coffee shop, exhibition halls, a central courtyard, a bar, a video library, an auditorium and more.
Although it is always open and free to the public, it is especially filled with activity on the weekends.
