With over 86,000 square feet, Centro Cultural e de Exposicoes Ruth Cardos is the largest youth cultural center in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The center is a place for empowering diverse groups of youth via educational programs, projects and other positive activities.
Opened in 2006, the center is constructed with a bright and upbeat modern style of architecture. It gives Sao Paulo’s youth a safe place to participate in music and language activities. The center was named after Ruth Cardoso, who served as the first lady of Brazil during the late 90s to early 2000s. She was very instrumental in creating various social programs in Brazil.
