CCBB – Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil is one of the most beautiful cultural venues in São Paulo. It offers visitors access to exhibitions of the world's leading artists, a theater and music circuit. The CCBB building, built in 1901, is worth visiting by itself.
Located in the heart of downtown São Paulo, the historic building was Banco do Brasil's first headquarters in the capital. In 2001, it became the home of the CCBB, currently the fifth most visited cultural space in Brazil. The center has hosted exhibitions by top artists, including Picasso, Kandinsky and Aleijadinho.
CCBB programming is always itinerant, so it should be visited constantly. The exhibitions are always free and the theater and music shows have tickets for less than 10 reais.
