If you want an up close view of the Niagara Falls, then you should head out to the Cave of the Winds. The Bridal Veil Falls at the Niagara Falls lies in front of the natural cave. The tour to this spot was stopped in 1920. Now a tourist attraction by the same name has been established close to the cave.

The time based and paid attraction allows visitors, dressed in ponchos and special footwear, to take an elevator to the base of the American Falls. Thereafter they can move through a series of walkways and decks to catch glorious views of the surrounding area. The tour also takes them as close as 20 feet to the Bridal Veil Falls.
